Description:
Peppermint is a perennial herb that grows up to 3 feet high. It has underground runners, so it grows and spreads easily. It has dark green, serrated leaves, purplish stems, and reddish- violet flowers. Peppermint has a long history of use, especially for digestive complaints. The essential oil is clear and has a strong, refreshing aroma. It is known for its versatility and should be a part of any first-aid kit.
